Tatting Tea Tuesday - Brrrrrrrrrrrr

Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Yesterday it actually got above freezing. Some of the snow & ice has melted from the streets, but we still have several feet of snow & 5 foot drifts, & this a.m. it's only 8 degrees f.

As I was tatting up another heart in my Fairy Sky HDT, using my new GS shuttle, I reached for a threadwinder & picked up the one with all the flowers & insects on it. Well, all those together got me to thinking about summer. I got out one of my flower cups & saucers, & took this pic. Raising my cup to summer time flower gardens & picket fences!

My goodness, what a lovely teacup, thread holders, thread, knitting and SHUTTLES! I'm undone by them all.

Georgia's shuttles are so gorgeous. *drool.drool* You will be enjoy every stitch for years and years to come.

Thank you for joining in the fun for Tatting Tea Tuesday! I look forward to reading your posts each week (well, really as often as you post)! Always a good, satisfying read.

Goodness! With all that ice and snow, you NEED a touch of summer! Glad you found some close at hand.

Your Fairy Sky thread is very pretty and I also like your thread winders. I haven't invested in any of those yet, but I'm seeing the need. I'm getting tired of the thread just falling off the ball and wadding up on me!
