You'll have to let us know if this is one of the musical shuttles... several of mine make a nice tinkling sound when I pull the thread through. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
The shuttle is so pretty. I don't have one of these shuttles yet. I bet it is lightweight and smooth to hold.
